Don’t toss it; fix it

I’ve been doing this for decades, as part of my work for a survivable future. “Repair” is the second priority after “refuse.”

Here is an organisation where you can learn how to fix things, join up with likeminded practical environmentalists and save a future one little article at a time.

About Dr Bob Rich

I am a professional grandfather. My main motivation is to transform society to create a sustainable world in which my grandchildren and their grandchildren in perpetuity can have a life, and a life worth living. This means reversing environmental idiocy that's now threatening us with extinction, and replacing culture of greed and conflict with one of compassion and cooperation.

Bob,Kudos to those who repair! This just popped into my head as I read your always informative column. Stay well,Don Do you care to repair?Do you dare to wear?Do you glare at well-coiffed hair?Do you stare at items rare?Do you share a very ripe pear?Do you snare a feisty mare?Do you tear into a lair?Do you bare to be real fair? Then please, please do repair.

Gooday Bob This is the message I receive when I try to share your latest blog on “Don’t toss it; fix it”: “Your message couldn’t be sent because it includes content that other people on Facebook have reported as abusive.” Cheers Duncan Dean (Bbus. Thank you, Duncan, I know that. A couple of years ago, the Facebook AI decided this. There is no appeal, and the ban seems to be for life. It is completely untrue of course. I have NEVER posted anything that violates their standards.
The only way to send people to a Bobbing Around post is to post somewhere else with the link in it.
      🙂
      Bob
