Refugee Legal: NOT the annual dinner

In Australia, refugees and asylum seekers face a deliberately cruel, torturous legal process designed to induce fear and uncertainty. Refugee Legal is a voluntary organisation of generous lawyers who do their best for people who fled their country already traumatised, then went through a process generating more trauma — and are then treated even worse by a supposedly civilised bunch of politicians.

Australia’s two major parties are copies of each other when it comes to dealing with refugees. It is up to people with a heart to offer support.

On 25 November, Refugee Legal is holding an online event. You can book a ticket here.

Or of course you can just donate to them.

About Dr Bob Rich

I am a professional grandfather. My main motivation is to transform society to create a sustainable world in which my grandchildren and their grandchildren in perpetuity can have a life, and a life worth living. This means reversing environmental idiocy that's now threatening us with extinction, and replacing culture of greed and conflict with one of compassion and cooperation.
