“The Earth is at a tipping point and we face a stark choice: either we continue as we are and irreparably damage our planet, or we remember our unique power as human beings and our continual ability to lead, innovate and problem-solve. People can achieve great things. The next ten years present us with one of our greatest tests — a decade of action to repair the Earth.”
So, William and Kate put their money to good use, and went looking around the Earth for worthy recipients. They have settled on five remarkable winners, well worth admiring.
If you had more money than you knew what to do with, how would you use it? A few highly visible choices are: Blast it into orbit around the planet, speeding up climate change. Buy politicians so you can squeeze more money out of poor people. Engage in a fun game of Monopoly to see who can die with the most.
I like William’s approach a lot better.
Yes. Little boys with their toys, and adults being responsible. 🙂

I especially liked William’s comment regarding Bezos’s jaunts into space with rich passengers paying huge amounts to go there for a few minutes. I can’t recall his exact words, but it was along the lines of using the money and effort to help fix this planet before dashing off to find another one to ruin.
