Reincarnated Barbie dolls

Mattel, the makers of Barbie dolls, Matchbox toys and MEGA toys has started up a recycling program. If you visit the Mattel Playback site, you can print off a free shipping label and send them your outgrown toys for recycling.

This program is just launching. It is currently only available in the United States, Canada, France, Germany and Britain. People in other countries need to ride around in their Matchbox cars a little longer.

About Dr Bob Rich

I am a professional grandfather. My main motivation is to transform society to create a sustainable world in which my grandchildren and their grandchildren in perpetuity can have a life, and a life worth living. This means reversing environmental idiocy that's now threatening us with extinction, and replacing culture of greed and conflict with one of compassion and cooperation.

A while ago Lego announced they were stopping plastic. Don’t know what they use instead. Perhaps fairy floss?

Good to see that some folks are proactively working to curb rubbish. (With apologies for the pun and, of course, to all those Matchbox-fanciers out there.)
Of course it’s too little, too late, but one has to try to remain hopeful.
