Are we just delaying the inevitable with climate change?

I happen to believe this, even more than when I wrote it.

Bobbing Around

I answer questions on Quora. For some reason, this one got me going, and my typing fingers took flight.

Please read my answer, and if you approve of the message, share it around.

About Dr Bob Rich

I am a professional grandfather. My main motivation is to transform society to create a sustainable world in which my grandchildren and their grandchildren in perpetuity can have a life, and a life worth living. This means reversing environmental idiocy that's now threatening us with extinction, and replacing culture of greed and conflict with one of compassion and cooperation.

Sound Eagle, and a happy every moment of your life from here on to you.
You do know my philosophy: keep it as simple and short as possible. If I can say something in 19 words, I won’t use 20.

Sue, to validate my answer, Here is today’s article about NASA:

I’m not sure, Bob. I do have a report from NASA (graphs and all) that has done a 20 years study, and they say there is no climate change. They said this is a normal cycle for the earth. Everyone is blowing it out of proportion.

Sorry, Sue, that cannot be from NASA but must be a forgery. There are lots of them (graphs and all) circulating around.
There is absolutely no doubt: we are undergoing catastrophic, human-caused climate change. The evidence is overwhelming. Please look around Bobbing Around for quite a bit of it.
But actually, what my Quora answer does is to show that we are killing nature in many other ways as well. Even if it wasn’t happening, we are still destroying the planet’s entire life support system.
There is a Chinese proverb: The best time to plant a tree is 250 years ago. The second best time is now. The best time to have tackled climate change was when it was acknowledged as heading to catastrophe, in the 1970s at the latest. The second best time is now.
