Why should you miss out?

As on the first of every month, I have a short covering note to subscribers when I notify them of the new issue of Bobbing Around. As a follower rather than a subscriber, you will have received the newsletter by now, but also, here is that same note, and even with a card to go with it.

Yes, it’s the first of April, but it is no joke: the newest issue of Bobbing Around has soared, right to you. Here is the link: https://wp.me/p3Xihq-2gW

I would be grateful for your advice on one matter, described at https://bobrich18.wordpress.com/2021/04/01/bobbing-around-volume-20-number-10/#lifting
In summary, should I send Lifting the Gloom off to my publisher, and delete its components from my list of short stories, or should I make it permanently available free?

There is a prize for the most amusing reply.

Other than that, remember, you are an essential part of our beautiful universe.

With caring and friendship,
Bob

That’s a tricky one, Bob. The choice you make has to be dependent upon how many readers you’ll get one way or the other. As everyone knows, anything free is worthless (which probably explains why people spend their hard-earned cash on garbage they almost invariably throw ‘away’§ before much time has passed… /sigh).

§ I wish someone would explain to me where this place ‘away’ is. My closest guess to date is ‘a landfill site’.
