Renewables have won in the USA

Statistics are in for November, 2020. As in October, 100% of new energy generation came from wind and solar, and this is not even counting small rooftop solar installations.

There is still a long way to go to replace gas and coal, naturally because power stations are expensive, and you can’t just undo their existence with the wave of a wand.

My only wish is that certain dinosaur politicians in my country would wake up. Mind you, real people are doing something about it. Here is a picture from my own community, Moora Moora, showing my dear friend, Glen Morris, with our new solar farm.

About Dr Bob Rich

I am a professional grandfather. My main motivation is to transform society to create a sustainable world in which my grandchildren and their grandchildren in perpetuity can have a life, and a life worth living. This means reversing environmental idiocy that's now threatening us with extinction, and replacing culture of greed and conflict with one of compassion and cooperation.

We love the solar on our home. It reduced our monthly bills (from about $1200 US to a little over $200) , but mostly because we just feel better about living on the planet.
