A doctor’s heartfelt words

Please read this brief, passionate essay by Dr. Dipti Barot, a medical practitioner who is a shining example of the best of her profession.

She is glad Trump caught COVID19, and exactly describes my reaction. My only hope is that her hope of the event influencing the people I find incomprehensible — Trump’s followers — will finally get the message.

I wanted a pic to go with the post, but probably sensibly, Dr. Barot chooses to hide behind this one:

About Dr Bob Rich

I am a professional grandfather. My main motivation is to transform society to create a sustainable world in which my grandchildren and their grandchildren in perpetuity can have a life, and a life worth living. This means reversing environmental idiocy that's now threatening us with extinction, and replacing culture of greed and conflict with one of compassion and cooperation.

Thank you for sending on Dr. Barot’s words. For some reason I get emails from the Trump campaign, and it appears from them that he will not waver from his previous behavior and lies. As soon as he got back to the White House from the hospital, he took off his mask.

So I’m afraid that his cult followers are still not likely to believe the scientists.

In the meantime I’m phonebanking and letter writing for the Democrats to people in swing states.

Wishing you and yours strength and good health,

    Margaret Goodman
