There is this 9 year old boy who happens to be very short, since he has the medical condition of dwarfism. He is also an Australian Aborigine, which has nothing to do with his physical disorder. “Naturally,” in a crazy world, he got terribly bullied at school.
His mother did something about it, and… have a read of the wonderful outcome.

About Dr Bob Rich
I am a professional grandfather. My main motivation is to transform society to create a sustainable world in which my grandchildren and their grandchildren in perpetuity can have a life, and a life worth living. This means reversing environmental idiocy that's now threatening us with extinction, and replacing culture of greed and conflict with one of compassion and cooperation.
Thanks for signposting that heartwarming story, Bob. Some days I think humans are great individually but not en masse; it’s good to be reminded that not all groups are bad.

Yes. I love humanity, but that doesn’t extend to people. 🙂
Basic human nature is cooperative, empathetic, compassionate. That’s why we have mirror neurones.
Only, certain (in)humans have superimposed a global culture of greed, hate and fear/aggression.
We need more people like this boy’s mother who wasn’t going to stand for the bullying.

Children can be incredibly cruel, especially toward someone who is seen to be “different” to the “norm”. Parents, teachers and peers are needed to educate children that bullying is totally unacceptable and that differences are what makes the sum total of the group interesting

Thank you, Jenny. I fully agree. In fact, such episodes are opportunities to lead the bullies toward empathy and decency.
I just love this boy’s picture with his football heroes.
