Regreening of an island nation

Madagascar has an amazing ecosystem, with many species found nowhere else. It is also one of the nations at greatest risk from climate change.

To celebrate 60 years of independence, they are planting 60 million trees, helping to reduce a half-dozen problems.

We should send the dinosaur politicians from various countries as convict labourers to help with the effort.

The picture is of a Madagascar lemur, who obviously approves of the tree planting.

About Dr Bob Rich

I am a professional grandfather. My main motivation is to transform society to create a sustainable world in which my grandchildren and their grandchildren in perpetuity can have a life, and a life worth living. This means reversing environmental idiocy that's now threatening us with extinction, and replacing culture of greed and conflict with one of compassion and cooperation.
