Australian engineers look to the climate

I am greatly cheered by This Guardian report about a revolt in the engineering profession. Many engineers, including both young graduates and well-known senior professionals with influence are revolting. They refuse to work on planet-wrecking projects such as coal mining in the Carmichael Basin.

Shouldn’t all of us do the same? Evaluate everything you do, big or little, through a survival lens.

About Dr Bob Rich

I am a professional grandfather. My main motivation is to transform society to create a sustainable world in which my grandchildren and their grandchildren in perpetuity can have a life, and a life worth living. This means reversing environmental idiocy that's now threatening us with extinction, and replacing culture of greed and conflict with one of compassion and cooperation.
