There is no economy on a dead planet

Last week, I posted a response to a recent political event. Facebook chose to delete my post, but after I complained, they rejuvenated it.

About Dr Bob Rich

I am a professional grandfather. My main motivation is to transform society to create a sustainable world in which my grandchildren and their grandchildren in perpetuity can have a life, and a life worth living. This means reversing environmental idiocy that's now threatening us with extinction, and replacing culture of greed and conflict with one of compassion and cooperation.

Hi Bob, I saw your post on People Who Pledge To Pick Up Five Pieces of Plastic Per Day. I run another group (which predates the above by a year I think) called People Who Pick Up Plastic. We have over 1000 members in over 80 countries. We’re a bit different from the one above as we encourage members to pick up plastic, take a photo and post is with a few words to encourage others to do the same. Possibly a good platform to expose your environmental ideas. Please join us. Here’s a link:

Thank you, John. I will do so.
My wife is one of the Garbage Grannies of Healesville, our little town. They go out and pick up trash from the streets and parks on a regular basis.
