Child raising for a better world

Imagine a society in which people don’t get angry, regardless of the provocation. Does that sound impossible? Please read this little report on the research of several anthropologists with the Inuit.

The hardy people of the North don’t suffer from anger. In case you don’t have the time to read the essay, it’s because of the way they raise their kids: “Don’t shout or yell at small children.” There is no punishment, only gentle instruction on the effects of a child’s behaviour: empathy and logical consequences.

About Dr Bob Rich

I am a professional grandfather. My main motivation is to transform society to create a sustainable world in which my grandchildren and their grandchildren in perpetuity can have a life, and a life worth living. This means reversing environmental idiocy that's now threatening us with extinction, and replacing culture of greed and conflict with one of compassion and cooperation.
