Iain Gillespie, the inspiration behind our RAR Healesville group, has been working on a wonderful CD, to raise funds for our work for refugees and people seeking asylum.
We have decided to start a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the costs of producing the CD.
Several wonderful musicians are donating their talents for a very special CD. Proceeds will be used to help people seeking asylum and refugees in crisis situations, fund projects to make refugees feel welcome in the community, raise public awareness and campaign against cruel overseas detention policies.
The CD is being made by Healesville RAR, a branch of the nation-wide Rural Australians for Refugees network. We really need public help to make this important fundraising project a reality, because printing hundreds of copies in a double jacket with an information booklet will cost around $2000.
Your donations will help create a CD of great music that raises money for an important cause.”
